Easy to attach to the bike frame - can be slipped off to prevent theft. Bright enough to see by at night. I don't ride my bike a lot a night, but I do spend a lot of time riding home at dusk, etc. This headlight utilizes LED technology and 3 AAA batteries, so the light is very bright and illuminates the path ahead of me well. The light mounts easily using only a phillips head screwdriver. I do have two, small LED lights also manufactured by Bell that are mounted in the front and back of my bike so that drivers will see me as well as I can see the road using this headlight. Great product! I purchased this for my bike for when I ride at dusk. I believe it will do an excellent job. (I haven't ridden at times when I need it yet.) It's very light, and bright enough that it will be easily visible to motorists. It was easy to install on my handlebars. This light works great and also flashes.. Light is so bright, I used it as a head light for dark roads...Great product for the price.. Just got this for my Globe "Work" bike....and not being on a bike in over 25 yearsI just started to bike to work to save on parking and I love to be active...I purchased the smaller Bell blinky @ Walmart for almost the same price as this one...this Bell Dawn works very well and you can see it much better and I like the batteries it runs on 3 AAA's rather than the round watch battery type which seem to run out quicker.... people driving are a little scary but I feel better with this light on...anyway back to the bell....its great for $9 bucks...cmon...its bright...and works well....what else can you ask for...and amazon is still one of the best shippers of most mail order companys...never a problem returning anything... Very pleased with this item. Works exactly as advertised and it really is bright, like gazing into the sun (not recommended to do either). Has continous on mode and blinking mode.
