This light has delivered on every promise the description makes. I especially love that it was so easily adaptable for use on our stroller. It is really bright and lights up the area in front of us for a good fifty feet. Plus,the flashing feature provides an unexpected benefit for some. For those tired of reading all ready, the bottom line is that I do not think you will regret purchasing one of these.If you are still around, here is our Bell Dawn Patrol LED Headlight story... We get out every morning and walk about four miles around the nearby lake in our little mountain town. Schedules changed and we have had to get out even earlier. The sun is not even rising by the time we hit the halfway mark and, what with all the trees and the sound of elk bugling in the distance, it can be a little spooky. The light provides safety in that we can better see in advance if there are creatures nearby, especially the elk which are surprisingly huge when right up close.For years we have seen the caution signs warning people that elk can get aggressive around this time of year. We laugh and think "stupid tourists," believing the signs are for the folks that try to have a close encounter. Until this year we have had no problems. For whatever reason, even while keeping our distance, we have been chased by elk twice this year. One was a huge bull elk that towered above us and weighed an easy 500 pounds. It was invigorating to say the least.This light has a bonus flashing feature that proved invaluable when we rounded a blind corner and walked right into a large herd (gang) of elk that included Bulls, mamas and babies. I pulled back so fast that I accidentally hit the button on the light which was attached to the stroller. It began flashing which immediately caused the elk, all of them at once, to break off and run in different directions away from us. In just seconds, the area was cleared.Previously I thought the flashing feature was something I would never use. Such a bonus and worth WAY more than the price of the light. I would buy this light again and highly recommend it to anyone.--------------------------------------One note to anybody wondering how we could put our baby in danger. That's no baby in the stroller. It's our ten year old dachshund. A degenerative hip problem has left him unable to make it all the way around the lake anymore, so rather than curtail or shorten our walk, we bought the stroller to put him in when he starts to give out. This led bike light works great. I used it on a camping trip where we ride bikes after dark to get around the campground and it gives a great beam of light in front of you to see by. it is also removable to use as a flashlight, is light weight and works good. I was skeptical at first because of how cheap it was compared to other bike lights (under the "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" mentality), but I have NO REGRETS. This thing SHINES a very long range, roughly 15-25 feet in front of you. It is brighter than a lot of flashlights I have owned.It takes 3 AAA batteries, and just slips onto the bracket on your bike whenever you need it. You can then take it off and put it in your bag after riding (although it might accidentally turn itself on while it's ruffling in your bag, because there is no on/off switch, only a on/off push button). The bracket has a non-slip rubber strip on it, so that it doesn't twist or turn on your bike.Click once, it turns on at a constant light. Click twice, it flashes at a constant rate. Click thrice, it turns off.A similar light (Planet light, I think) was $25 at a local bike shop. What a great deal. pretty good! bright lights and enough for biking at dark night.at least the cars can def see me!Def recommend to whoever needs it! Neat little handy light, mounted under my wheelchair, I use it every night. Mounting it was easy, turning it on and off is simple, its cool to have a tiny light ready whenever needed. East to mount, flexible, but do not like on off switch location. Bright at night. So far I like it. I got it right away and it works awesome. I did enjoy finding out that it has a flashing sequence too. I enjoyed working w/this seller. It is getting a little dark in the morning when I go biking on weekends. So I figured that I need some kind of light to avoid getting into an accident. Works as advertised. Easy to install and on my wallet. Good so far. Works just fine. Wish I could have installed the light without special tools....had to go to a bike shop in Provincetown, MA to get it mounted onto my bicycle. (Great shop, BTW, on Commercial Street, P-Town. ...., Arnold's (Arthur's?)...the best people!)
