This is a great buy for the price. It was a little uncomfortable, so I'm happy they included some attachable padding.I put 2 pads in my helmet, and that has worked for 4 months now. I also am not fond of the location of the buckle to attachthe helmet under your chin. I should likely tighten it a little more but tighter is uncomfortable. But once I put it on I forget it is even there (that's good!). If it does it's job in an accident is what matters most.Updated review on 5/25/2012: Feel off my bike last week, I hit the side of my head on pavement, small scratches to helmet absolutely NO injury to my head :-) This helmet is light weight, looks great and fits great. Comes with extra padding which i used to me it fit perfect.You forget its on your head after few minutes. It also looks "cooler" than other longer body helmets that look dorky. I bought this to match my new bike. It is my second giro, they are both very comfortable and airy and the straps adjust easily. Very light weight, looks good for a bike helmet, after adding included foam pads was very comfortable. Love the easy adjustment knob. Bought this helmet because its a good brand and had good reviews. So far it has been great. I like the system they use to fit the helmet to your head and it seems like it is built well. Even though it has a ton of vents I still find my head sweats a lot with it on. That's really something to be expected though. At this point I consider it a great helmet. I've had it about 3 weeks so far. Either I have a really big head or the "universal fit" title is a bit misleading. Probably going to have to sell it and buy a bigger one. Although smaller sized than other Giro helmets, this is a good choice. Be sure to check your size before ordering Bought this brand ( Giro) because my previous Giro served its intended purpuse. Good quality. But, if you have a large head than most people, keep away from it. It is less than 61 cm. Helmet was perfect for this new cyclist. Arrived quickly and sold at a fair price. I would recommend to my friends Uncomfortable due to minimalist padding and strap design.1. Someone mentioned here it's not for big faces - it's probably because the front strap is routed close to one's face instead of, like on fox helmet I have, being attached to the side edge. In effect strap touches your face in more places than necessary.2.
