the headlight is so bright i get respect

the headlight is so bright i get respect now. that's right. people stare. people move over. and most importantly cars yield to the freaking bicycle. i've never been so excited about riding at night. i commute daily (4 miles each way. average 1,000 miles a year) and often fear for my life in a few intersections. but not today. highly recommended.hold the button to go into blinking mode. most cars will slow down. I gave this product a 5 star rating because I feel it was an excellent value for the products quality and performance. You can get a nicer light, with a more accurate lumen rating for 2-3x the price. If price was not an issue, I may not recommend this product. Here is my Pro/Con listWeight of light is 104 grams and the battery is 190 grams.Pros- Lights up the road at night and even good enough to ride skinny trails at night- Longgg lasting rechargeable battery- Power button not easily turned on in a bag- Power button illuminated green, which you can see in the front. It looks really cool.- Easy to attach/remove from your bike with rubber grommet/clip designCons- I dont think its 1200 lumens in reality- The beam is relatively thin for tight corners in the woods, you may have to spend more on a wide lense*- Separate battery that is rather bulky- Cheap battery storage bag(fix explained below)I was hitting some relatively mild roots and the velcro strap ripped off. Fortunately they also put a belt loop on the battery bag. I put the bag back on using 2 zip ties and its actually a lot more sturdy than the velcro was.
