I was trying to avoid spending more than $20 on such a simple product, which led me to this nice little light. It's super easy to install (2 minutes) and gets the job done. It feels solid and provides sufficient light and with the flashing version it lasts for a very long time on those AAA batteries. I highly recommend this product for the cyclist who, like me, occasionally finds himself caught on his bike at night and in need of some light. There seems to be two types of headlights out there. Ones that can be seen, and those that allow you to see and be seen. Most of the cheaper bike headlights seem to be fine for being seen on the road. This light allows you to actually see in front of you. Properly mounted on my handlebars, I could see several feet ahead of me while using this light, which allows me to be much more safe when I ride at night. My main concern with bike riding in the city/suburbs has always been the fear that I'll be creamed by a car, truck or bus. As careful as I might try to be, I know that making myself and my bike as visible as possible will increase my chances of avoiding such a demise. While I try to wear bright clothing, it doesn't even come close to the extremely white/bright LED light that shines from this headlight! Better yet is the blinking mode. Easy to use, it is the best safety investment I have made. This headlight is the perfect economy kind of headlight. Now when I say this I don't mean it's some cheap flashlight that barely works, for that is not the case with this product at all. It is exactly as it is described in the description. I have to say for a flashlight about the same size as my Samsung messager touch, and that only uses 3 AAA batteries, it is one powerful flashlight. The darker it is the better for this thing. Good price and this headlight allows you to see great on a completely dark path or you can set it to flash so cars on the road can see you day or night. Good deal and works great, mounts easy and stays in place, also you can easily take the light off the mount with a clip mechanism if you want to leave it locked up but don't want to leave the light on the bicycle while it's unattended. Though you have to be careful with the thin plastic, I broke mine first time out leaving it locked up and taking the light with me, still works just a little harder to detach since breaking the end off the clip. Super bright, easy installation, sturdy, and easy to clip the light on and off the mount. 3 Triple A's never made a light looked so bright! Gives off a bright light. love the strobe feature. Can also be used as a flash light. Can be seen from blocks away. Mounts easy. Stays on handle bars well. It has a quick release for easy removal. Love this bike light.
