This LED light is very easy to install. Once installed it stays put, provides a nice, clean white light and is easy to detach once you park your bike. I have recently begun biking for my commute and having this light on my bike makes me feel much safer when I ride before dawn. I am very impressed with this little headlight. Works great on my bike. Throws off a great amount of light. Can be steady beam or flashing beam. The price was right. I bought two for my bike. I was amazed at how far the headlight projects light. Very good for when out at twilight or night This a great light for the money. It fits snug on the handle bar and is easy to install. You can choose to have the light on or blinking to save battery life. Both options work well. The quick release is nice to change out the battery or when you have to wash the bike. I bought 3 of these lights and would recommend them to others. This light does what it's supposed to do: be lightweight, provide light and provide safety - it does all of these things very well. A lot of reviews for this item seem to focus on the amount of light and state that the headlight provides no illumination past 20 feet. This is simply not true - while the largest amount of light is focused in an area approximately 15 to 25 feet in front of the bike, residual light can be seen in the neighborhood of 100 feet out. I think most bikers will agree that having a moment or two to plan your next maneuver is key - and this rule follows tenfold at night. This light provides more than enough light to see what challenges lie ahead. The light is extremely bright - the first person to stare directly into the beam will be sorry they did. Plus, the light is very good on battery life.The safety (blinking light) function works well to advise other bikers and cars that you are in the vicinity. However, I find the flashing light in front of me very, very annoying. As such, I only use this when I am in heavy traffic. I also use a bright red rear light as well when riding at night. All in all, for the price, you can't beat this light. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it at a very fair price. Looks pretty good and is bright enough for some dark roads.
